It is quite easy to get lost in the proofs and developments in the book if the subject is treated with a passing glance. Loved it. I originally got this book to teach my daughter how to count. Here it is, at long last a marvelous and long-awaited volume on salamanders that completes this magnificent series outlining all the herp species of the Southeast. In short, though this is a very good book, reading and understanding will take a bit of effort. Birren. I understand he was a "tank driver" although he did command a few tanks during a few times during the war, but it would have been a better book if he had provided more details of the battles his company had.. My son was assigned this book as summer reading rising to 6th grade. It is in better condition than advertized!!I orderd it on 8/5 and it was shipped on 8/6. This is an adorable book for the little ones.. And when these old timers are asked if there is any proof that such tools and techniques actually work their response is: "It has worked in the past, so it must still work now." What the author proposes is that marketing professionals start applying the scientific method of research to their marketing efforts.
