Students of urban history will find familiar themes, such as the politics of a group that migrated to the city. Your stockbroker certainly won't suggest any of these alternatives. This is a great book for the aspiring writer. When I read suspense/thrillers, I want plot with twists and turns around every corner, at the end of every chapter, something to keep me reading. you can always go for the paperback digest size ones, which are pretty cheap, if you just want to read the story for the first time. The main subplot of the story was Flints brother Ransom's issue with his fiancé (I will not spoil it for you), Flints self professed soul mate. An excellent guide to the costing, performance calculation and operation of farm machinery. An eloquent writer, his book is not necessarily targeted towards engineers like myself, but would be very worthwhile to anyone interested in nuclear enterprise, or energy in general. The back-to-back dialogue keeps the plot moving along but doesn't allow for as much introspection as might be hoped. I love this book..
