I particularly remember a chapter in this book in which Brostow outlines principles of invention. "The German gun had fired an armor-piercing projectile that entered the turret, killed all three men, and then exited the other side. What's SACD mean? What the heck is this X.1 business? And an $80 2 meter cableare you kidding me? I needed help!Great book! Helped me get oriented, and put a very pleasing system together. This a one of those "Here's WHAT to do" books that doesn't talk at all about HOW to do any of it.The one redeeming factor in the book are the interviews with "influential Canadian Songwriters." (the interviews make up 70 pages of the book). I loved this book, although it wasn't anything like how I thought it would be. These people are relentless and it is very hard to get them to back off.. And for a book oriented towards young riders (though see above comment), I can't imagine who thought the very long blocks of text interspersed with the occasional line drawing was the right way to capture kids' attention.All in all, this is a clunky reference manual. I would certainly buy this book again.. It was a gripping story but bogged down at times with unnecessary details..
