My wife is a teacher and loves this book. The 49ers found out that getting lost in this place could be deadly. But evidence -- from within Red Hat, as well as from other organizations cited in the book -- indicates that the results can be nothing short of amazing.. with EVERYONE. No registration form to fill out, just show up.Catherine Franz[]visit blog for more information: []. But if you're okay with that and the ugly green cover, you may as well get this book. The characters are rich and the action is a fun romp through dangerous waters. This book fills a small niche between something for the general audience and something like a text book. The author explains his ideas and point of view from stories gathered from his work at Red Hat, the large and very succcesful Linux company.. Both for the user and your machine.A wasted part of that book in my opinion was the clay modelling chapter. For starters, it's significantly easier to read. My big question though is How did he not get frickin' STD's????Just because it's the Regency era does not mean it did not happen and seriously this guy went at it. There are his "Carnets" published in the French language (these aphorisms, plus letters and contemporaneous thoughts on politics etc.), but they're not published in English yet. I believe the author wrote this book in such a way that it could be read as a stand alone.To the author, once again great job!!
