Moreover, though possible to completely understand everything with mathematics, readers must comprehend the physical processes taking place. Though this book may not suffice the needs of all advance topics, you may want to look at other fluid mechanics books for advance topics. Book is very practical and applicable. Evans the historian studied in great detail the lives of Joubert's famous contemporaries in previous biographies (like the young Chateaubriand), and to my mind she interpolates the life, moods, professional life, love life and family life of Joubert here, amidst the Revolution and Terror. It is quite easy to get lost in the proofs and developments in the book if the subject is treated with a passing glance. I extremely highly recommend this to my peers and highly recommend it to everyone else.. All is good.. Full of great photos with concise explanations. Only critism is that the computer programs are in Basic language (Excell would be prefered). This was a fascinating and enlightening memoir. There is something in it for everyone willing to take the time to peruse it. Perhaps via teevee? Difficult to guess. I read this as a schoolkid in India 30 years back and was entranced by his passionate defense of his clients. All I can say about the accompanying illustrations - and the less said the better - is they are a perfect fit for this text.. Those who do not have a solid back
