Super interesting panorama about museology panorama that reflects and social statements for the world today. Starting with the incredible 1.5 liter V-16 of the early 50's to the 2.5 liter 4 cylinder cars that followed, Mr. Sometimes the notation is confusing, switching among those used by various classic authors. It was a gripping story but bogged down at times with unnecessary details.. Book is very practical and applicable. A very good introduction to methodical innovation. At first glance I was intrigued, but after the prologue I was hooked. My own father, a land grant university mechanical engineer, was a bit lax in this zone, over his years. While this may not have been the objective for many in the early sixties--most gays just wanted a safe place to meet and socialize--a series of pivotal events, in particular the bravery of some in the community and the open-mindedness of allies outside the community began to slowly erode the negative stigma associated with homosexuality.
